Vulkano

VULKANO is a princess punk trio from Stockholm. Lisa Pyk Wirström on synth, Rebecka Rolfart on bass and Cissi Efraimsson on drums and vocals. Last year they toured Europe with Viagra Boys. Their live performance is a punk fun feminine dance party. 

Vulkano is one of the foremost DIY bands in Sweden. Their new self released album Fantasy vs. Reality is a playful universe of cute animals, sexy candy, invisible girl tails and birthday vibes. An album they collaborated with among others Grammy nominated producer Patrik Berger (Charli Xcx, Robyn, Icona pop). Lisa Cissi and Rebecka are all old members of the pop band Those Dancing Days who had a huge success and recorded with Max Martin. Vulkano's sound floats between the excessively sweet and the distinctly raw and unrestrained. VULKANO mixes influences from new wave, punk and dance music.
