Bertolf's love of music started with bluegrass. The singer-songwriter and guitarist traveled to Nashville to fulfill an old dream: to record an album with his great heroes, such as Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan and Mark Schatz.
Bertolf's love of music started with bluegrass. The singer-songwriter and guitarist traveled to Nashville to fulfill an old dream: to record an album with his great heroes, such as Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan and Mark Schatz. 'Bluefinger' became the title of the new album. In the theater program of the same name, Bertolf and his band perform this new work and the best songs from previous records, in fully acoustic bluegrass versions. Supplemented with the most beautiful bluegrass stories and a number of pearls from this illustrious repertoire.
According to a raving review over one of Bertolf's records, Happy in Hindsight sounds like 'a tumbled-down record collection from the seventies'. We gladly welcome Bertolf at Haarlem Vinyl Festival.
Experience Bertolf yourself at PHIL on the 1st of October. Get your tickets here. This concert is also accessible for Full-on Vinyl Weekend Pass ticket holders, available here.
