Zwarte Liefde

Driven by a deep love for vinyl and crates full of records, Zwarte Liefde has kept the vinyl culture alive for over 10 years, celebrating black music wherever the needle drops. On Friday, October 2nd, the collective will be at Patronaat.

Zwarte Liefde (Black Love) originated in 2016 in Amsterdam, founded by vinyl enthusiast and DJ Welly Ibrahim, also known as Welly Well. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a movement and evolved into a series of events and a collective, supported by DJs like DNS and Chuckie. Black Love teamed up with the legendary brand Technics: a true full-circle for a concept centered around the iconic turntables that have shaped DJ culture.

Over the years, Zwarte Liefde has built a loyal following among both vinyl enthusiasts and black music lovers. During the Haarlem Vinyl Festival, they have hosted various events in venues such as Locael and the Jopenkerk, as well as listening sessions with Welly Well and DJ Chuckie at PHIL. New music and danceable classics guaranteed!
