Vinyl Alliance Presents: An Exclusive Listening Session of Robert Plant’s New Album Saving Grace

Experience the brand-new album Saving Grace by Robert Plant on a stunning hi-fi system. Let yourself be carried away by the rich sounds of Saving Grace, which Plant himself describes as “a songbook for the lost and found.

The session will kick off with an introduction by Sven van Laere from Audio-Technica, providing insight into the fascinating world of turntable needles, giving you a better understanding of the unique way vinyl brings music to life.

There will also be an introduction and closing by superfan Michael Struis, a journalist for publications like Heaven Magazine, and likely the only person in the room who has personally met Robert Plant.

About the Album:
Saving Grace is the debut release from the new band of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, featuring a group of prominent musicians. The album's origins trace back to the lockdown period spent in "The Shire," where Plant's usual wanderings were interrupted.

While his recent musical adventures focused on Nashville — notably the reunion with Alison Krauss for the 2021 album Raise the Roof, which topped the charts and received multiple GRAMMY nominations — it was in the English countryside that Plant found creative kinship with a new group of musicians.

Together, Plant and Saving Grace — with vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown — have evolved over the past six years into a dynamic workshop of styles and personalities. Their music joyfully weaves through time and genres, breathing new life into centuries-old songs and recent treasures.

The album features arrangements by Plant, Saving Grace, and Sam Amidon, with material from Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley (Moby Grape), Blind Willie Johnson, The Low Anthem, Martha Scanlan, Sarah Siskind, and Mimi Parker and Alan Sparhawk of Low.
