The Yearlings

 Alt-country band album release show.

The party is over for the Utrecht 'alt-country band' The Yearlings. That's why they are presenting their new album 'After all the party years'. The band was founded in 1999 and in 2006 the band members went their separate ways, but they found each other again after years and released the album 'Skywriting'. 'Skywriting' was their idea of a party record, the new album 'After All The Party Years' is the opposite.

The new album is written from the world of today. We stumbled through the corona period, only to witness a war in Europe erupt and a genocide in the Middle East. Bird flu has now reached Antarctica, where lakes are forming in the most unlikely places. "2024 is more than we can handle, but 'After All The Party Years' is an album that can carry us forward, with our backs straight and less naive."

Some songs are more 'killer' than they have ever recorded before. Less gentle and sometimes more threatening, with greater contrasts. Sometimes the guitar solos fight for attention at the same time. But at the same time, it is a quest for beauty, meaning, and timelessness.

Tickets are available through Theater de Liefde, the concert is also accessible to Weekend Pass ticket holders (limited capacity)
