Rimini Express (Italo DJ set)

After his talk about Italo disco, Daniël aka Rimini Express plays the best classics.

Daniël discovered the Italo disco genre through his father. The music, an important part of the nightlife culture in the '80s, immediately captivated him. Sometimes forward-thinking and futuristic, sometimes sounding like the soundtrack of a cheesy B-movie. The extremes in Italo disco are closely intertwined. Nowadays, the genre is increasingly heard in clubs and festivals. Daniël hosts a monthly show on Birdcage Radio and frequently performs in Utrecht and the surrounding areas. Check out his latest mix here.
