Rare Records from Aruba

Michael Lampe is an Aruban artist, music producer and composer living and moving between Aruba and Amsterdam. Known musically as Fellow, his work has long moved across electronic music, production and composition.

For more than two decades, Michael has collected records from Aruba, Curaçao and across the Dutch Caribbean, driven by a curiosity about the music that came before him. Over time, the collection became a gateway into his own musical heritage and a source of inspiration for his work as an artist. It opened up a wider world of sounds, ideas and histories from the islands, while raising new questions about how that heritage can live, shift and take on new forms today.

That curiosity now continues through Flying Park, his new artist alias, and the upcoming album Sonido Cosmico, where musical memory meets electronic experimentation.

At Harlem Vinyl Festival, Michael brings part of his collection to play and share the personal journey behind it, offering a window into the musical worlds and histories of Aruba and the surrounding islands.

Since 2025, Michael serves as Cultural Ambassador of Aruba.
