Writer and music journalist Saul van Stapele joins moderator Leon Wijdenbosch for an interactive Q&A about his latest book Woorden als wapens, drawn from thirty years of unique encounters with the biggest names in American hip-hop, from Kendrick Lamar to Nas, Ice Cube to Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent to Jay-Z.

Saul van Stapele is a writer, interviewer and program maker from The Hague. He has been writing about pop music and culture for NRC's arts desk since 2004, published several books on hip-hop, sits on the supervisory board of Paard Den Haag, and organizes the annual hip-hop, bass & beats conference ADE Beats at Amsterdam Dance Event with Team Beats. Woorden als wapens, published by Nijgh & Van Ditmar, is his fourth book.
