Oblique Strategies

De Vishal returns returns with a freely accessible vinyl themed exhibiton, inspired by Brian Eno's work. 

The Oblique Strategies compiled by Brian Eno in collaboration with Peter Schmidt form the leitmotif of this exhibition. The iconic card game with 'sideways' strategies to influence the creative process is applied in both music and visual arts.

Oblique Strategies opens on Friday, August 29 at De Vishal and is freely accessible during the Haarlem Vinyl Festival.

Featuring works by: Frank Havermans, Karin van Pinxteren, Marianne Lammersen, Lucas Hoeben, and Olle Stjern.

On Sunday, September 28 at 3:30 PM, Olle Stjerne, one of the participants in this exhibition, will perform at De Vishal with saxophonist Till Hormann.
