Kaas FM is an online radio station broadcasting entirely Dutch alternative music. Founded by Ingrid Enache, the platform grew out of her own experience of moving from Romania to the Netherlands and finding a sense of belonging through the local music scene.
Kaas FM is a music discovery platform connecting Dutch music with an international audience, while celebrating the immigrant experience of starting over in a new country and building new communities through music, food and culture.
Its distinctive visual identity pays homage to traditional Dutch cafetarias, many of which are now run by internationals. Kaas FM has been featured at Dutch Design Week, Milano Design Week and Romanian Design Week, and has hosted guest shows at Down the Rabbit Hole Festival, Skatecafe, Rararadio, Radio Radio, Voices Radio, KINK and Indie XL. It also has an ongoing residency at Operator Radio in Rotterdam.
At Haarlem Vinyl Festival, Ingrid Enache brings Kaas FM to PHIL Café for a vinyl-only set featuring music exclusively by artists from the Netherlands.
