Jazzwork with Harm van Ee & Rogier Polman

Collage artist Harm van Ee (whose work borrows the visual language of jazz record sleeves) gives a lecture on Friday 2 October at Paviljoen Welgelegen, as part of the exhibition Verzinsel, verwijzing en verbazing.

Rogier Polman gives a glimpse into his obscure collections such as vintage photos and obscure mechanical objects. Harm van Ee's collages are inspired by the design of Jazz record covers from the 50s and 60s. His large collection partly originates from the Funckler label collection that was once located in Kruisstraat, the current location of the AH.

Harm van Ee also showcases some original Jazz covers that have typographically inspired him. Visitors can scan a Spotify code in this exhibition to listen to the title track while viewing a collage work.

On Friday of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival, Harm will provide a personal explanation of his CollageJazz collection starting from 3:00 PM. The joint lecture by Rogier and Harm can be attended at this location from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM.
