Inge Lamboo

Viral mash-ups, percussive guitar playing and a sound that moves between modern pop and classic influences: Inge Lamboo brings her distinctive style to Sounds Haarlem.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Inge Lamboo first gained international attention through her inventive mash-ups, combining songs by artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Arctic Monkeys. Her interpretations caught the attention of names including Lindsey Buckingham, Tom Morello and YUNGBLUD, while The Who guitarist Pete Townshend later appeared on Call Out Your Name from her second album, This Is How The Future Sounds.

After two albums and tours across the Netherlands, England and Ireland, Lamboo is now taking a new independent direction. Her latest single, Gravity, brings her back to the core of her sound: acoustic guitar, a distinctive percussive playing technique and an infectious pop sensibility.

On Sunday, she brings that sound to Sounds Haarlem as part of Haarlem Vinyl Festival.
