Frankfurter Polka Trio

Klezmer, polka, film music and much more, inspired by music from Eastern Europe.

The Frankfurter Polka Trio (FPT) mainly plays their own songs inspired by music from Eastern Europe, klezmer, polka, film music, and much more. The trio consists of a clarinetist, an accordionist, and a baritone saxophonist. The infectious repertoire, ranging in style from lyrical to fiery and from melancholic to cheerful, is performed at festivals and other festive occasions and can often be heard on the streets. On the occasion of the release of their first vinyl album, "De Dochter" (a sequel), the FPT will perform in an extended lineup at Theater De Liefde during the Haarlems Vinyl Festival.
