Blanks

Blanks is the artist project of Dutch songwriter and producer Simon de Wit. He built his fanbase through social media and found his own place in indie pop, both in the Netherlands and beyond: a colourful mix of catchy pop, retro influences and pure “excited about music” energy.

Over the past year, he has been writing behind the scenes on a series of major hits, including “Atlas” by Pommelien Thijs and “Nog Even Blijven” by MEAU & Douwe Bob. After an intensive year of writing all over the world, from Nashville to the Bahamas, he is now stepping back into the spotlight with a new album set for release in spring 2026.

On stage, Blanks truly comes to life. Guitar-driven pop, plenty of interaction and a spontaneous feelgood atmosphere come together through the joy he radiates with his band. His shows are also strongly rooted in connection: Blanks built his community himself from day one and still wants to show that you can chase your dreams and make them happen.

The new show sounds more mature and pushes the edges a little further, while keeping the warm, optimistic vibe he is known for. Expect new songs, stories from his time in the US and an artist who makes you feel, in every way, why he is still, and more than ever, excited about music.

Tickets (€25,50) are available via Patronaat, access is also included in the Weekend Pass.
