With the addition of, among others, Chuckie, Gilles Peterson, Kay Suzuki, Nebula, Nnelg, Spinvis and Thomas Azier , the program for Haarlem Vinyl Festival is now complete.

From live performances to vinyl-only club nights, from listening sessions to hours spent digging for new gems for the collection: during Haarlem Vinyl Festival, everything that makes vinyl so beloved comes together. Alongside concerts and DJ sets, there is an extensive daytime program, including behind-the-scenes tours at Record Industry, a large, free-to-enter record fair on the central square Grote Markt, a repair café for your vintage turntable, and in-depth listening sessions on high-end equipment for audiophile visitors.

A city festival for vinyl culture at the heart of Haarlem

From clubs and venues such as Patronaat and PHIL to record stores, cultural centres, cafés and the oldest museum in the Netherlands: you can enjoy an extensive program across more than 30 locations in Haarlem's city centre, featuring performances, exhibitions, signing sessions and listening experiences. The festival celebrates vinyl both as a carrier of music and as a cultural phenomenon, for music lovers of all generations.

New this year is the location of the free-to-enter record fair, organized in collaboration with Record Planet. For the first time, it will take place on the Grote Markt, making it the heart of the festival in the old city center on Saturday and Sunday, with 70 record dealers from the Netherlands and beyond, vinyl DJ sets, workshops and masterclasses.

Listening sessions

Highlights of the program include the opening lecture by Professor Mykaell Riley on 500 years of Black British music, listening sessions with representatives of the legendary Windmill Lane Recording Studios and Cuban artist DJ Jigüe, a conversation with influential BBC radio DJ Gilles Peterson about the most important records of his life, Dutch-Iranian artist Katayoun on the golden age of Iranian music, and deep listening sessions at the Teylers Museum, including Time Capsule founder Kay Suzuki on Geinoh Yamashirogumi's Ecophony Rinne .
