You’ll find Lars Hoeben’s custom furniture both on and off stage, adding to the vinyl culture vibe we’re always aiming for.

“Twelve years ago, it all started with digital drawing. At the same time, I was spinning records and collecting vinyl. For years, I also worked as a photographer in the dance scene, always surrounded by music, energy, and creativity. Everything finally came together when I designed my first DJ booth and built it with my dad.

Soon after, a friend asked for a custom DJ booth too. And that’s how I found myself building furniture for others in a basement that was way too small with a ceiling far too low. Turns out, it was the start of something bigger. Within two years, I moved from that basement to an old classroom, then to a church, and eventually to the large workshop where I still bring my projects to life today.

These days, I focus mainly on DJ booths and vinyl cabinets, now found across Europe and beyond. But I also build a wide range of custom pieces: from kitchens to bathroom furniture, from bespoke cabinetry to full interior solutions.

In my work, all my worlds come together: music, design, photography, and craftsmanship. That’s what makes LCM.DESIGN more than just a business to me: it's my story, told in wood.”
