Thomas Azier
After three years of relative silence, Thomas Azier returns with PANORAMA, a cinematic and deeply personal new project connecting pop, performance, field recordings, poetry and visual art. On Saturday night he previews the new show at PHIL. Make sure to come down in the afternoon as well, when he sits down for a Q&A and plays the tracks that inspire him most.

Chef'Special has been at the top of the Dutch pop scene for years, with multiple albums, major festival shows and an impressive string of hits. The national favorites, known for their energy on stage, are up for their home game: the Haarlem band plays PHIL for the very first time. Earlier that day they look back on 15 years of music, songs and production in a Q&A, from One For The Mrs. to the present.

Bnnyhunna
Bnnyhunna is the musical project of Dutch-Ghanaian artist Benjamin Ankomah, raised in Amsterdam Zuidoost, blending jazz, hip hop, R&B, gospel, funk and Afro rhythms. His new album Selah was played once, live, and recorded straight to vinyl in front of an audience that was not allowed to clap. It is released during the festival and presented with a show at Patronaat on Friday. The day after, catch a special Selah listening session at PHIL: a rhythmic and melodic journey captured in one uninterrupted live recording.

Bente
Bente is one of the focal points of Dutch pop music at the moment. Her second album Drift marked an artistic deepening, and last year ended with a completely sold-out Koninklijk Theater Carré. On Sunday night she plays a special concert at PHIL.

Janne Schra
Janne Schra is a multidisciplinary artist from Amsterdam, known for her work as a singer, songwriter and painter. She first gained international recognition as the frontwoman of Room Eleven and has since found her own way through funk, soul and jazz. Hers is a voice best heard live, so Saturday at Patronaat is the moment.

Anouk Wolf
Haarlem singer-songwriter Anouk Wolf takes to the canals for a series of intimate acoustic pop-up performances across the city. Grab a seat on the boat and see Haarlem from the water, with a live soundtrack.

The Turtle and the Lightbeam
For the festival, Allard Krijger (FRAKnoise) and visual artist Jurjen Alkema transform De Vleeshal through sound, light and image. It sits right on the Grote Markt, so it is easy to step inside in between digging sessions at the record fair.

Rolando Bruno
Cumbia in a skate park, need we say more? Maybe a little. Buenos Aires' Rolando Bruno started out in garage punk band Los Peyotes before building his own sound, which he calls cumbia trash: Peruvian chicha, Argentine cumbia and psychedelic rock with a vintage look to match. Daan Modern and DJ Guzz complete a night of rock 'n roll exotica.

Extince
Zwarte Liefde has kept vinyl culture alive for over 10 years, celebrating black music wherever the needle drops, and on Friday night the crew takes over Patronaat. Among the selectors is iconic rapper Extince, the voice behind 'Spraakwater', who plays his first ever vinyl-only DJ set. Chuckie, Desibel, DNS, ND, Rafik, Rodney Williams, Setiono and Welly Well are on the decks too.

The Flexican
One of the most versatile DJs in the Netherlands goes vinyl only. Born in Mexico City, The Flexican moved to Amsterdam in 1992, helped deliver Dutch rap landmarks like Superstuntwerk and the cult favorite Bumayé with Flinke Namen, and is equally at home in hip hop, funk and house. At this special vinyl edition of CLUB3 he takes over the turntables for a two-hour session, joined by Dora and Just & Kay.

Gilles Peterson
The BBC Radio legend spends his Sunday in Haarlem. In the afternoon, Tracklist of My Life is a rare combination of listening session and DJ set, tracing the records that have shaped his life and career. In the evening he closes Het Huis van Funky Vinyl with KC The Funkaholic and DJ Nobody Knows, on a vinyl journey through jazz, soul, funk, house and broken beat.

Mula
Mula has been a defining force in Dutch hip hop for ten years. He introduced trap to the Netherlands with the label and collective Wilde Westen, and his debut mixtape D&G, with its unique beats and new flows, is seen as one of the landmark records of the Dutch scene. His latest album Narcopop was praised as boundary-pushing and won an Edison. On Saturday he brings it to PHIL, with support from Lusho and Marou & Massin.
