The big one, and this year it moves to the Grote Markt, right in the historic city centre. Over 65 local and international vendors line the square with everything from rare finds to classic albums, organised with Record Planet, Europe's leading vinyl fair organizer.

Haarlem Record Label Market
The one where you can ask the people who released the record what it is. Independent labels from Haarlem, Amsterdam and beyond gather at PHIL with recent releases, limited editions and overlooked catalogue titles, covering everything from experimental electronics and ambient to indie, punk and underground pop. Participating labels include Tiny Room Records, Wap Shoo Wap Records, Moving Furniture Records, Zesde Kolonne Records, Bottom Shelf Records, Geertruida Label, Presto Chango Records, Winter-Light, and Dead Mind Records.

Crate Digging Experience by VinylFarm.EU
On Saturday an unopened stock of records arrives in the PHIL hall, and nobody has seen what is inside, not even the people from VinylFarm.EU. Book a ten-minute slot, dig through the covers one at a time and take one LP home. It might be a record you have been looking for for years, or something you would never have picked off a shelf.

Vinyl Market: Killa Cutz Records
Amsterdam's Killa Cutz Records brings a pop-up market to Het Huis van Funky Vinyl, with a hand-picked stock to dig through between the documentaries, workshops and DJ sets happening in the same building.

VinylFreaks Record Store Opening
Right on the first day of the festival, record store VinylFreaks opens its doors at the Slachthuisterrein. Behind it are friends Roy van Rijn and Marcel Bindels, who have been selling records at fairs and through their webshop since 2023 and now have a physical store, with bins full of new and second-hand vinyl, a great collection of maxi-singles and every second-hand record checked for quality. Show your festival wristband or ticket between 16:00 and 19:00 and you get 10% off the second-hand collection, with changing offers across all three days.

Near Mint Haarlem
The Gierstraat record store keeps its doors open all weekend with The Vogue Years, an exhibition on Françoise Hardy's years at the Vogue label, built around the largest Dutch collection of 7" Vogue EPs. Come for the exhibition, then do what you came to Haarlem to do and go through the bins.

Sounds Haarlem
The Grote Houtstraat record store turns into a stage for the weekend, with 247GO and Hollow Drifter on Friday, Birdcage Radio Records taking over on Saturday afternoon and Inge Lamboo closing on Sunday. Digging while a band plays behind you is a very specific pleasure.

Platenzaak.nl Lounge
Browse the crates for special editions and recent albums, take a seat at the Audio-Technica listening stations and put your newest purchase on the turntable before you carry it around all day. Spin the Wheel of Fortune while you are there for a chance to win €100 in Platenzaak.nl store credit.

HaarlemsEIGEN
The shop for upcycled and subcultural products from Haarlem pushes its interior aside for a day of vinyl on Spekstraat 5. DJs Crazy Crudesjev and Nifty curated a collection of second-hand records for the occasion, so expect soul, funk, blues, ska, Latin, Afrobeat, jazz and retro film music rather than run-of-the-mill vinyl. Look out for Niek van Veelen's lamps too, made from rejected coloured vinyl supplied by Record Industry.

Flinty's Vinyl Fest
Flinty's gives all of Saturday to vinyl. In the afternoon you can make art out of old records and DrQ hosts a turntablism workshop at 16:00. When the stage room opens at 20:00 there is a small record fair upstairs, where punk collective Minor Operation Donations sells vinyl and buttons with all proceeds going to charity.

Take care of what you carry home. The Repair Café and Small Parts Dronten are at PHIL on Saturday and Sunday for free help with your record player and for parts to keep your setup running. At the Vinyl Alliance Education Zone you can ask the people who work with records why one warps, how to clean it properly and whether your turntable could sound better.
